Wellness & Prevention

It is our goal to keep your pets happy and healthy, through regular wellness checks and a preventative medical approach. Our annual visits consist of a comprehensive physical exam, internal parasite screening, heartworm and flea control, routine vaccinations, and specialized blood and urine testing for all life stages. All of our parasite screening is performed by our technical staff so that you can receive accurate and immediate results. We do have the ability to run in-house bloodwork for critical patients, however, we elect to send our routine lab work to our extension lab for more comprehensive panel results.
It is our goal to keep your pets happy and healthy! We recommend routine screenings and preventative care for all of our pets.

Internal Medicine

We cover basic internal medicine but also consult with and refer clients to board-certified specialists including Cardiologists, Ophthalmologists, Neurologists, Dermatologists, Orthopedists, Gastroenterologists, Oncologists, Endocrinologists, etc.

Digital Radiology

Radiology, such as as x-rays, help our veterinarians evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular (cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems for potential issues. We have digital radiology which allow us to image your pet quickly and safely, and to provide high quality images for consultation and referral to specialists.

Microchipping

Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families. We offer the most widely used microchip products to increase the chances of a safe recovery, should your pet become lost or separate from your family.

Nutritional Counseling

Obesity is a common problem among pets, as it can be easy to over-feed a pet that knows how to beg. Being overweight is a serious problem for animals and can cause real health problems as they get older. With proper diet and exercise, all pets should be able to meet their dietary needs and be within a healthy weight range.
Pets’ nutritional needs change as they enter different stages of their lives. The best way to make sure your pet’s needs are being met is to consult with us about a diet made specifically for his or her lifestyle.

Surgery

We believe in utilizing the highest level of medical technology to promote quick healing. We also realize that it can be stressful to have your pet undergo surgery. We want to assure you that your pet is in good hands. We will communicate with you about the things you need to know before, during, and after your pet’s surgery. It is our goal to make the entire process go smoothly, and to eliminate the stress and worry of surgical procedures.

Pain Management

Picture
Veterinary patients feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do. We know that recognizing and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care, which is why we work with you to keep your pet free of pain, regardless of the ailment or issue.

Therapy Laser

Picture
Veterinary laser therapy provides a non-invasive, pain-free, surgery-free and drug-free treatment. This therapy can be used to treat a variety of conditions and can be performed in conjunction with existing medications. Laser treatment for dogs uses deep-penetrating light to promote a chain of chemical reactions known as photobiostimulation. This process helps relieve pain through the release of endorphins and it stimulates injured cells to heal at an accelerated pace.
